SRY LANKA - DAMBULLA

Monkeys of Dambulla

Go to Dambulla

E qui come spesso mi capita, mi domando come l'uomo abbia potuto fare queste cose e costruire questi monasteri o palazzi senza l'ausilio della tecnologia moderna.

And now we go as promised at Dambulla cave at the top of the Golden Rock. Here too after a long ascent made by hundreds of steep ,eyes open wide in surprise at this monaster carved into the mountain , each rooms filled with statues of Budda and all the ceilings, which are naturally polished stone , with colorful frescoes, small monkeys that roam undisturbed, and the silence broken only by the wind. And here, as J often wonder how the man was able to do these things and build these palaces or monasteries without the aid of modern technology. Of course you re-create the atmosphere that is in some places and writing is not easy. Sometimes there are just things that are seen to give us emotions but also how one feels seeing.....Definitely not for those who are not buddhist ,are simply statues, simply monasters, for me a little more.

They are however the representation of another ancient culture is a curious, and for those who like me are an inner enrichment. Travel is an enrichment and as the Dalai Lama said,at least once a year go somewhere you don't know ,but it's close enough for you unknow.

Sigiriya - UNECSCO World Heritage Site

The Temples of SriLanka

The temples of Sri-Lanka

J am buddist, so this trip not only to satisfy my curiosity of tourist has enriched me inside. The beauty and peace that we instill this site is unique, it's hard for me to talk about just a tourist, but J will try  to this as objective as possible. Sri-Lanka (Serendib) shining the island, the Budda considered the realm of serenity and peace, and it is true, it's beautiful, diverse, lively and quiet, where people from a lot of emphasis on spirituality and where the progress has not yet managed to erase the past, but above all the way to face life with calm and serenity.
